That’s Not Dressing Crazy
|
Category: Gilmore Girls
In the mess that was season six I totally overlooked a few funny moments. One of them is in the “Friday Night’s Alright for Fighting” episode. Lorelei sees Rory and asks why she didn’t dress crazy like they agreed. Then there is this whole bit about Rory betraying Lorelei and Lorelei offering the scarf to Rory for confidence. I actually really liked the stripe scarf that Lorelei was wearing. I wouldn’t have noticed that the look was “crazier” than usual if she hadn’t of told me. I’ve been thinking of trying the dressing crazy idea with my mom but I’m pretty sure that I’m the only one who will show up with an ugly scarf. Any other takers out there?

I don’t want to be a pain in the you-know-what, but her name is spelled Lorelai
And I think you should try the idea with your mother.

I agree! Change the spelling ASAP or people will think you are a phony Gilmore fan!! And that would be horrible because I love this blog so much, it keeps the Gilmore-ism alive even though its gone

Sadly, I’ve misspelled it from the very start I think I addressed my inability to spell her name in one of my earliest posts.

We just saw that episode today, and loved the scarf too. I think Sylvia Plath has a poem called “Lorelei” with an “e” so you’re in good company. Anyhow, I’d try that idea too.
Saw an article about Lauren Graham in the magazine “More” today.

Hahaha same for me! I thought Lorelai was well-dressed and I didn’t realize she did it on purpose! We are used to see her wearing crazy clothes! (actually until season 3… after, she doesn’t wear as often all her funny tops…)
