I went swimming for the first time in a long time. I vaguely wondered if a person forgets how to swim. I guess it’s like riding a bike, which I also don’t know how to do anymore. I got out my swimsuit & had pretty much this exact conversation in my head that Rory and Lorelai have when they go on spring break and Lorelai says she doesn’t have a swimsuit and Rory pulls out a suit from a long time ago.
I too still have my swimsuit from 6th grade. However, I don’t call it a bathing suit because I’m too cool for that. I guess there is one thing to be said for living in a place where the ski resorts sometimes operate in July…no swimsuits.

i’ve always thought one-pieces were much more stylish than bikinis–even if i had the body for a bikini, i still don’t think i’d wear one. or maybe just the top half with some shorts. damn, i’m texan.
