I broil most everything. It’s faster than actually waiting for something to cook. Yet, it still uses the oven so I feel good about myself. One year, I had an old fashioned stove in my college apartment. I put the food in the oven, cranked it as high as it would go & nothing happened. I spent twenty minutes trying to make it set on fire. Years later I watched this episode of The Gilmore Girls where Max shows them the broiler. Ohh that’s what the funny drawer with the fire was for. Now I know.
