I was listening to a Frank Sinatra based internet station the other day.  I can tell when people aren’t Frank Sinatra because they are women.  I have quite the ear for music.  Then one song came on & I was like “Ohhhh, pretty voice.  It’s not Frank Sinatra because it’s a woman. It’s so soothing.  I could listen to this all day.”

By the end of the song something had happened.  My face was resting on my elbows & I had no desire to ever move, ever again.  Then I looked up to see who the singer was….Ella.  It was exactly what happened to Sookie, Lorelai, Michael & Rory when they were trying to pick out Sookie’s wedding song.  I love Ella, but it was Gilmore de ja vu.

You know I spent over a year looking for the song that they played at Sookie’s wedding! I finally had to end up downloading it from rhapsody! I love Ella too, but I actually got into her from the show! Oh how Gilmore Girls influences my life! I just found out I’m pregnant, and I am going to name my baby Sookie if it’s a girl…..I’m OBSESSED!!!

By the way, the comment on the top of your site of ‘If we were gazelles, we’d be the first ones eaten at the watering hole’, is said by Rory, not Lorelai:) Really funny though!

I just had to respond to Sylvia by saying that “Lorelai” is also Rory…so it COULD work. Haha. 🙂

I am also a obsessed with Gilmore Girls!!!!!!!!!! First i was surprised that on the list of movies they talk about in the show, that you didnt list Pippy Longstocking from the episode “We got ourselves a Pippy virgin.” I was also wondering if you knew the song thats played during the credits part at the end of each episode? 😀
