It’s like riding a bike

I was very proud of myself, when I was faced with riding a bike. Without even thinking I basically quoted Lorelai when she was on her bike, that there’s a reason why they say “It’s like riding a bike you never forget”.

However, this is not exactly the case. I hadn’t ridden a bike in several years. Plus, I wasn’t riding a cool vintage bike. I was riding a mountain bike. It had gears. I am alive & my limbs are intact, but riding a bike is not just like riding a bike. No, I didn’t forget. Apparently the bike forgot that I wasn’t supposed to fall off. I for one am never going to use that saying again.

I have actually never learned to ride a bike. Don’t get me wrong, I tried. But I just kept falling off, over and over again. Btw I just wanted to say that since I never got to see the last season when it was on TV and I bought it on DVD, I just got done watching Unto the Breach, the next to last one. Me and My Mom and Sister are all gonna buy a bunch of junk food and watch the last episode together. I cried even though I never really liked Logan but her turning him down saddened me.

Hi! Found you when I was searching for Gilmore Girls blog sites. CityMom and I are newbies to blogging, but LOVE the GGirls. Yes, I personally wanted to be one. Ask CityMom, 2 years ago I donned Lorelai’s hairstyle and her fashion style too!
Although we blog mostly about “mom” stuff, we are such fans and I have linked your blog to ours, ’cause I fell in love with your site!
Thanks for being out there. I don’t know what I’d do without my GG DVD collection!
