07 Mar 2008 Learning to love snow
 |  Category: Gilmore Girls

I’ve never shared Lorelai’s belief that snow is magical. Probably because I live in Utah so I know that snow is in fact very cold. In snowy weather, a sweater & scarf almost never keeps you warm. Ah, to live in a world of magical TV snow.

Instead my feelings about snow coincide with the episode where Lorelai hates snow, except no one has built me an ice skating rink yet. I’m still waiting on that one. I will however concede that snow is magical. Snow hides a lot of flaws, or in the case of my town, piles of junk sitting in the front yard. So I like snow, just as long as I don’t have to go outside.

  1. i guess i love snow because i’ve never been in a situation to hate it. the last time we had snow here in houston (a couple of christmas eve’s ago), it was like “oooh! aaaah! pretty!”

  2. I love Snow to death. But maybe its cause our town is pretty when it snows and its not completely freezing here. I live in Indiana btw.

  3. I just lol-ed about the snow covering junk in the front yard. Winter is the only time my yard fits in with all the pretty ones on the block
