01 Feb 2008 Every town needs a Troubadour
 |  Category: Gilmore Girls

I can only go so far in my quest to become a Gilmore Girl. I wish my town had a troubadour to sing songs as I walk across the city square, but we don’t. The logical solution is to become the town troubadour.

I own a guitar. It’s blue. I know three chords. I can totally pull off the mysterious thing. I can’t sing. At all. I also like to write in short sentences. For awhile I toyed around with idea of being a bad town troubadour, like in the Season 6 finale. That I could totally do. I just don’t want to end up the subject of a town meeting, so this is one experiment I’ll have to pass on.

  1. That would be so awesome though! Even if you did it for only a week, I’d love to hear about your experiences, but if you still decide not to be a troubadour then I look forward to reading what else you do to be like a Gilmore Girl.

  2. hey,
so this has absolutely nothing to do with troubadours but if you are still looking for a new tv show to watch, i suggest arrested development (which is also now off the air). its not anything like gilmore girls storyline-wise but it is hilarious. you can probably rent seasons at blockbuster, or if you feel particularly adventurous, you can buy the complete series for 45.99 on amazon. happy couch sitting!

  3. you could always download some strummy-strummy-la-la music and play on an iPod or something while pretending to play the guitar…

  4. I’m already a huge Arrested Development fan, it’s nice to see someone else likes both shows as well thanks for the recommendation
