07 Dec 2007 One of the few things Paris has ever liked
 |  Category: Movies

March of the Penguins has been on Animal Planet lately. I remember where Paris said that the penguin movie rocks. It’s basically the only thing she’s ever complimented.

At first I thought more than two hours watching penguins was akin to being back in high school & watching videos in science class. However, March of the Penguins is enthralling. It shouldn’t be so fascinating to watch penguins, but it just is. A word of warning: I now hate pelicans & weird seal looking things & anything else that is an emperor to the emperor penguin.

  1. I love love love March of the Penguins. Enthralling to say the least! :)

  2. Oh, no! My next book has a sea lion in it. But she’s friendly. Really!

But that’s not why I’m writing. At this moment I’m watching the episode of GG when Lor & Rory take Max to Luke’s for breakfast, and in the middle of the scene, their mugs turn from red to blue and back again. I’m so not kidding (the beauty of the dvr is that I could verify this right away.) Just a little GG blooper trivia for ya.

  3. Julie!! I was watching that episode yesterday…and I noticed something funny as well! The part where Lorelai and Rory were sampling cakes, Rory kept sampling from the raspberry cake, yet when the camera was behind her (Rory), you could see the raspberry cake…and there weren’t ANY “sampling marks” - the cake was whole. I seriously rewound and forwarded over and over to make sure I wasn’t nuts. I must have been too pre-occupied with the cake issue to not notice the coffee mugs. =D

  4. Angie…more reasons to repeatedly watch GG :} I’m heading back to hit rewind…
