I’ll admit that I was getting a little burnt out by reading Rory’s Book Club list. I never considered giving up the project, but I am woefully behind because I’ve been reading non Rory books. Shocking, I know.
Then I picked up Small Island by Andrea Levy & it reminded me why I’m doing this project. It reminded me why I read in general. Small Island is about Jamaican immigrants to England after WWII. It’s a good book. A very good book. One that I never would’ve picked up without Rory’s book club.

Gilmore Girls isn't just a show for me it's a way of life. I follow Lorelai's fashion and read Rory's books. I've compiled several lists of pop culture references made in the show. This blog documents my life in a small Stars Hollow-esque town as I search for my Luke Danes. I hope to be able to skip all of the Season 6 drama.
