I was just watching “House” & the patient’s mom looked familiar. Within seconds I was saying, “Oh, it’s Maureen’s, Sherry’s friend that appeared in both the Dear Emily & Richard episode as well as the baby shower episode”. Apparently she was also the original Martha Kent on “Smallville”, she was also on “Pay it forward”.
I tried to name all of the fifty states a few weeks ago because I was inspired by an episode of “Friends”. I can’t remember Oklahoma, but I can spot a minor Gilmore Girls character from a mile away.

I’m always shouting out stuff like that to the TV. The most recent one was on Grey’s Anatomy: “It’s Grandpa Gilmore!” I heart Ed Hermann.

I just ran across your blog and I love it! My friend got me hooked on the Gilmore Girls last spring and then I was so upset when I found out about season 7. Your blog is awesome though! Here’s to being a Gilmore girl!
