I was just looking at my categories column & it made me sad that there will never be another post in the Recaps category. I feel like I should hang a black wreath on that category or something. Instead, I decided to recap the entire show in one paragraph.

Lorelai got pregnant when she was 16 with the coolest kid in the entire world named Rory. They were best friends, unlike Lorelai’s Mom who was just a teensy bit evil. There were lots of boys around Rory & Lorelai, but most of them were losers. Coffee, lots & lots of coffee. Luke is pretty. Rory wanted to go to an Ivy league school & she did. Coffee.

This happened a few months ago, but I’ve blocked it out until now. The 24th of July is Utah Pioneer Day, it’s a really big deal. Every year, my town has a fireman’s breakfast at 6 in the morning. Every year I forget this. So all of the fire engines are setting off their sirens, & going up & down the road blaring them while fireworks go off, I wake up & think “We are under attack”. Every year.

My favorite part is the cannons. They set off cannons too & I’m not entirely sure why. When I hear a cannon I don’t think, “I think I’ll just follow that sound I could really go for some pancakes right about now”. It’s so Stars Hallow.
