Redneck Renaissance

renaissance.jpg

I’ve always envied the renaissance fairs, especially when Luke had to go help Liz at the fair. So, I decided to go to my own town festival. Every year, the mountain men come through. I wish I had pictures, but the mountain men didn’t look like people that I wanted to anger. Just picture several booths full of pantaloons for sell, roasted turkey, & lawn chairs made out of wood along with a guy carving arrow heads. They were like one big, oddly dress family. It’s no renaissance festival, but it was still weird & creepy enough to suffice.

  1. We have a huge Texas Renaissance Festival that comes around every year–and I never go. Since it falls during my 30 day extravaganza, I’m going to make a good faith effort to go. Although I’ll be looking around for Luke and Liz! :)
