One of the requirements to being a wannabe princess is that you have to be a little obsessed with the story of Anastasia. Since I am a wannabe princess, I enjoyed reading “The Kitchen Boy” by Robert Alexander. I’m not sure if this book is geared cowards young adults, but it was easy to read.
It follows the story of a possibly fictitious kitchen boy tracking the last days of the Romanov’s. I think if you’ve studied the Romanov’s extensively (In other words, if you are a good princess), this book would be a little elementary. It was difficult to discern fact from fiction, as the author intermingled a lot of both. However, I’m a good princess, so I give it four pop tarts.
