Rory’s Book Club: The Heart of Darkness

Never before have I read such a short book that felt so long. Joseph Conrad is probably what was considered an eloquent writer. However, I didn’t understand one single thing that was being said. This makes it more than a little difficult to offer a fair review.

It might have been a good book. It was like reading a different language, there’s no way that I can pick up a book in French, read it, & say “ah yes, this deserves four pop tarts” I definitely could have used some “Heart of Darkness” cliff notes. It’s a good thing that I wasn’t being quizzed.

About Sarakastic

I've watched every episode of Gilmore Girls several times. I moved to a small town that reminded me of Stars Hollow. I've subconsciously had my haircut to look like Lorelai. Gilmore Girls is my life, I just have to find Luke. (Well, I didn't have a kid when I was 16, but other than that...)
