Paris would love “Empire Falls” by Richard Russo. It’s about a diner guy named Miles Roby, & once Miles Roby is in your life, he’s in your life. This is the tale of what Stars Hallow would be like in a not so perfect world. It was difficult for me to read because I don’t want to know what the seedy underbelly of Stars Hallow would be like. It was superbly written. However, I just want to live in a world where “Stars Hallow doesn’t have a seedy underbelly”.
