I have been eagerly awaiting Season 7 on DVD. It’s finally available for preorder, even though it won’t be out until November 13th. Granted, Season 7 wasn’t the best, but I have to have the complete set.
While I was at Amazon, I saw the complete series for only $181.19.
Times like these I wish that I could do math. Hold on, let me grab a calculator. Yes, I could’ve just skipped that, because you, my dear blog readers, have no idea if I step away from the computer for a second. That’s just the magic that is Sarakastic. Ok the boxed set of all the DVD’s comes out to only $25.48 a season which is a lot less than what I paid. I’ll just be glad to finally have all of the seasons at home, lined up proudly on the mantle.
Read MoreTwo Pop Tarts on the Rating Scale. There’s not a lot to say about “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest” by Ken Kesey. Again, it’s a book that I should’ve read in high school, but was never assigned. This is a good book but it only gets two pop tarts because I just couldn’t handle it; it was that disturbing. If this book were at the Academy Awards, it would win, while all the celebrities smiled & tried to not shudder. Well, a book can never win an Academy Award, but if it could, this book would. See? I’m not doing good sentence making this was so disturbing. See? I’m writing pearls of wisdom like “good sentence making”.
Most books I make my way through just fine, but this really needs someone to guide you through it. Some words that come to mind: disturbing & scary beyond imaginable belief. It wasn’t like some of the other books that I didn’t understand, like Kafka. I understood what happened, I just didn’t understand WHY, & if anyone would like to explain it I’d appreciate it.
Read MoreAmy Sherman Palladino has said on several occasions that she had planned on ending the show in four words. I keep thinking & keep thinking. I ruled out…
Michael: “I hate people” Nope only three words.
Luke to Lorelai: “Will you marry me?” but why end with a question?
Rory to Lorelai: “Mom, I love you”. We already know that.
Emily to Lorelai, “I’m glad you’re my daughter”, that’s too many words & would never ever happen.
Hmm, reading back on those, all of them suck & are not Palladino-y enough (Yes, I’m trying to turn it into adjective). Any ideas on what the four words might be?
