Big Shoes
After the end of "Gilmore Girls" I’m left thinking now what? I’m pretty selective about TV viewing, but some of my guilty pleasures include:
Iron Chef
Project Runway
Ace of Cakes
The Riches
The Office
I think that’s some of the best television right there. It just doesn’t inspire me though. I don’t watch it & think, "I’m going to become a gypsy", or "I’m going to go in the kitchen & try to cook really really fast & have Mo Rocca mock me". I know I’ll probably never be able to fill the shoes of "Gilmore Girls", I don’t want to even try. It’s like going out & buying a new puppy when the dog dies. I just wish there was something else that inspired me, TV wise, but that’s asking a lot. "Gilmore Girls" was one of kind, it was the first show that made me really want to change, & maybe it’s the last. This is why we have DVD’s

I hear you. I found 90 minutes of solace in the “So You Think You Can Dance” premiere last night, but it’s not like that gives me a new way to look at life the way the Girls did.
Thank God for DVDs!!!

I have watched Gilmore Girls from the very beginning. I cried as the end approached. I do have all there seasons on DVD’s. but it is not the same. I looked forward to Tuesday night’s.
I will miss them so.
