I thought it was a fitting end. Full-circle and all that. Cried like nobody’s business. Glad to see L&L reunited–took long enough. Still bitter about the whole Christopher ploy/waste-of-time.

Oh… I am so out of the loop. this is the first I’ve learned that the series was ending.

I feel crushed.

While I don’t have TV, I DO by the seasons on DVD, and I had no idea that this was the last season.

I live in a cave.

Sniff. Sniff. Really, it’s too sad to contemplate. I hate series finales - I even cried during the last episode of MASH as my parents watched it, even though I had no idea what was going on.

So the first thing I did when I got to work was come here. I’ve been sort of in denial these past few weeks about the finale and couldn’t bring myself to visit and see what you had to say… But today I’m sufficiently fulfilled after seeing the episode–but I agree with you that the lack of Mrs. Kim was more than just a little disconcerting. Bust. I really wish she had been there and Michel, too. He got a bit part in the beginning, but it was pretty inconsequential. Um, I did love the last scene…it’s a lovely homage to the pilot episode in which the diner is established as being so central to the story. Luke and his diner are the girls’ touchstone and it was lovely to see them there for one last cup.

So what now, Ms. Saracastic? Where does your journey take us?

I should add that my wife really liked the episode. She said it was a tear-jerker, because of all the stuff with Rory’s leaving.

Pre-teen daughter and I cried during most of it. See, we watched our very first GG episode together way back when, and now it’s gone. Btw, pre-teen daughter will be just teen-daughter this summer. How apropo is this? Life movin’ on….waaahhh. It’s movin’ too fast I tell ya!

Good ending, but it’ll take some getting used to…

Oh. There are so many things I would have done differently. The first thing is that I would have built up the Luke & Lorelai conflict much more to make the kiss more dramatic.

My favorite part was Luke leading the whole town in a mutiny against Taylor. Sweeet.
