Rory’s Book Club: Fahrenheit 451

I don’t usually like songs that are about singing. Anything along the lines of “I write the songs” by Barry Manilow makes me cringe. To me, a song about the power of songs, isn’t powerful. So I had my doubts when I picked up Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Would I really like a book about books? I thought it was captivating though. The last time I read Ray Bradbury was in the 8th grade & for whatever reason it didn’t make an impression. Now I must go back & reread more of his works.

About Sarakastic

I've watched every episode of Gilmore Girls several times. I moved to a small town that reminded me of Stars Hollow. I've subconsciously had my haircut to look like Lorelai. Gilmore Girls is my life, I just have to find Luke. (Well, I didn't have a kid when I was 16, but other than that...)

I had to read this book for school. I don’t really like science fiction, but the theme was good, and the writing is powerful.
