Tim just sent me a newsletter informing me that the CW just announced that "Gilmore Girls" will not be returning for an 8th season with the finale airing May 15th. At least they won’t be able to mess up the show anymore although two weeks is not a lot of time to get Luke & Lorelai back together, have Rory & Logan break up & Rory be ok with that, Rory become a famous news reporter & have Adam Brody return to marry me on my first guest appearance on the show.

I just read that too. Ouch. And Lauren Graham doesn’t want to end with a wedding? I’m okay with that, but c’mon–L&L have to at least get back together. It’s only right. sniff.

Sigh. I read the story on CNN this morning–I haven’t been the same since. Let’s at least hope that the ending is as ‘fitting’ as they claim it’s going to be! If only I owned a hanky…this would be the perfect time to whip it out!

I feel like I’m being invited to a shotgun wedding, without knowing whether or not there will actually BE a wedding. Or if I want there to be. Sigh.
