The Way We Were - that movie has always killed me. For some reason - even as a young teen, it really hit home. And at that point, I hadn't even REALLY experienced true heart ache. But that movie always makes me ache. It's a bit too real for me. But love the movie.

One of these days I'm actually going to sit down and watch these old movies that people always talk about. Never seen Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, It's a Wonderful Life...I could go on! :) I'm keeping track of your list though...I'll catch up eventually!

This is also a favorite episode of mine... Although I wouldn't break up with someone just so that I could watch it. But this episode always makes me cry. And it demonstrates how strongly Lorelai loves Luke, and how timeless is Luke's love for Lorelai. I mean, how many guys do you know who would rush over to their ex-girlfriend's side like that? Just like he came to the hospital when Richard had his operation. Luke does that for his family and for Lorelai and Rory. I think that says something about the girls' relationship with Luke.

BTW, like many movies mentioned on my favorite show, The Way We Were is in my Netflix queue, but I haven't gotten to it yet.
