Rory’s Book Club: The God of Small Things

There was an episode of “Seinfeld” about a wedding in India where the scenes are acted in reverse. It takes a lot of concentration for a “Seinfeld” episode. The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy reminded me of this. (If Jane Austen reminds me of Seinfeld, then so can this book). Hmm positive things…the cover was pretty. I didn’t understand a lot of what was going on. The things I did understand, were pretty disturbing & made me want to wash out my brain. By the end, when I was finally putting all the pieces together instead of an “aha” moment, I was like good one more piece & then it will be over. I will watch that episode of “Seinfeld” episode again though.

About Sarakastic

I've watched every episode of Gilmore Girls several times. I moved to a small town that reminded me of Stars Hollow. I've subconsciously had my haircut to look like Lorelai. Gilmore Girls is my life, I just have to find Luke. (Well, I didn't have a kid when I was 16, but other than that...)

Is the book a good read? I wanted to buy but didn’t know whether it was nice.

Like your blog. I love Gilmore Girls too. Wana Lorelai to be together with Luke! =(
