Do you find yourself smiling for no apparent reason? Have you noticed that you’ve been nice to people lately? Been awhile since you started throwing TV dinners in the frozen food section of the grocery store? Finally, there is a cure for that pesky happiness. It is called "Of Mice & Men" by John Steinbeck. (Alternate title: Most depressing thing I’ve ever read). Yet another classic that I don’t agree with being a classic. This book is like "Old Yeller" without the dog. However, it will take care of any of that pesky happiness you may have lying around. Quick, must think of something happy. Rory! Rory’s Book Club! (See link in the umm top bar, I mean header. I totally just didn’t forget the word for header. I really should use the delete key more.)
Another something happy to distract you from the fact that I just gave a great piece of literature only 3 pop tarts, New Gilmore Girls episode tomorrow. I even capitalized New, that’s how excited I am.

Wow - if this is the most depressing book you’ve read, then I don’t want it anywhere near me, because you’re WAY braver than me! I got halfway through THE BELL JAR last week (BAD book to start on your birthday, I learned…) and had to put it down. Knowing how things ended for the author herself made me too leary to see what she’d do to her hapless heroine. But then again, I’m a bit of a wimp…
Still loving the pop tart rating system - read on!!!
