My next step to become Rory was to read “The Nanny Diaries” by Emma McLaughlin & Nicola Kraus. This book reminded me why I read. It totally captivated me. I have never read anything before that was so much like watching a movie.  It was so effortless, funny, & had the best imagery. Think “The Devil Wears Prada” with a four year old. Only think that though if you liked “The Devil Wears Prada”, which I did. Completely made me reassess how people in the service industry are treated. It’s a must read for anyone with children or who has ever babysat or been a nanny or had a job or was breathing. To join Rory’s book club check out the official link in the sidebar & choose a book.
