Just when I was so excited about “Gilmore Girls” again, I happen across the worst spoiler of all time. I’ll write the basics in white, so if you are a spoilerish kind of person, you can highlight it & read it, if you aren’t, then don’t. Christopher & Lorelai are going to elope in Paris next month. Martie is coming back (Yeah!!!) Richard isn’t going to die (Yeah!!!). I really don’t mind if Christopher & Lorelai are going to elope. It’s simply that they are already thinking ahead to put her back with Luke. I don’t want this for her, she has jumped around enough in her life & last season was all about how she’s finally ready for stability. Besides, we already did the quickie marriage with Luke & the lawyer girl. Her name escapes me right now, I’m just that upset. I’m hoping that it is just an elaborate ploy to throw us off track to Luke & Lorelai reuniting, or at the very least Lorelai staying single. However, it comes directly from David Rosenthal, so probably not. I’m sorry I had to share this with you. It’s like when you eat something gross & turn to the person next to you & say “Try this, it’s disguisting. No really, you’ve got to eat this.” So if this happened, would you keep watching “Gilmore Girls”? I will because I’m in this til the end. It’s not about the boys to me, it’s about my “Gilmore Girls” so as long as they don’t kill one of them off, I’m good. (I hope this doesn’t give any of the writers any ideas)

I will definitely still watch Gilmore Girls, although it seems like (dare I say it) this might be a jump the shark kind of move. Lorelai’s love life never felt contrived before because she did what so many of us do - she tried her best with a bunch of guys who didn’t work out for various reasons. She was the classic successful at work/failure at love girl. But now they’re making her into a bit of a crazy ditz, but ony in her love life - things at the Inn keep swimming along perfectly, which kind of bugs me. If she’s going to unravel, let her unravel. Then bring her a fabulous someone to re-spool her when the season ends

I read that spoiler too, it upset me, but I of course, will keep watching. I am on the look out for my own Starrs Hollow, I am from CT and there isn’t one there, Mystic is pretty close. It is nice to know I am not alone with my obsession with everything gilmore.

I am with them until the end……..this season I am finding it hard not to hate the show sometimes (sepecially if this spoiler comes true) but I am going to stay with it.

Ok- As I mentioned before, I don’t have cable but I am a true and depp lover of the G.G.
This spoiler is exciting new to me (and DAMNIT, Again makes me pissed off that In decided to cancel cable!!!).
I love Chris and Lorelai. Love them. I also love Luke and Lorelai, but they aren’t meant to be. THEY JUST AREN’T.
Let’s be real here, Luke can’t keep up with her wit. She’s too quick for him.
Chris on the other hand, is a good verbal sparring match for her.
