Ok- I hate to put this on you, but again, you are my only connection to the show.

Help me.

I don't have thoughts on the episode because I come here to read about it and this post was a little confusing (albiet still very enjoyable) for me given that I didn't see it.

Am I starting to annoy you yet?

I commend you for doing so much research! Maybe I should go back and rewatch. I only half-watched because Rory whining about Logan is meh... Thanks for another great recap!

I am a huge Gilmore Girls fan, especially the pop references and to see if I can catch up with them an catch them all. I did not get to see last nights episode so thank you so much for your update. Is anyone else wondering why Luke is staying in the background on all of this? Who is Bobby? I would love Sherry to break them up, she did it before why not, it seems repeating relationships is the theme here. It seems I missed a good episode. What about Lane? Who was the beautiful girl Rory was upset about at dinner with Logan?

I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but it sounds daunting! I got caugt in an all-out battle over gerunds my sophomore year in high school, and the gerunds won. I left my AP English class and enrolled in a class where the teacher had us write 200 word journal entries on vital topics like, "The importance of taking good telephone messages." It was YEARS before I realized that I could be a writer even if I NEVER understood what a gerund was. I may have lost the battle, but I'm gonna win the war :)

Thanks for all the great information. You really deserve a medal for all that, you would be great on a quiz show! Please come & visit again. (Ah, I'm replying to CJ, not to my own article, although that was a lot of great information too)

I think perhaps the phrase is "bon vivant" (closed captioning is known to have its own mistakes), French for epicure (someone who lives luxuriously and enjoys good food and drink). Also, a gerund is a grammar term, and it is simply a verb form used as a noun. It ends in -ing, and here is an example: "Watching GILMORE GIRLS can be an obsession for some." In this sentence, "watching" is the subject, but this "noun" is formed from the verb "to watch." Finally, Captain Bligh was the captain on the British Royal Navy ship the "Bounty" against whom a mutiny was led (hence "Mutiny on the Bounty"). I tend to be a bit of a fanatic about this show, too, and I hope you are not offended by my English teacher (yes, I admit I am) corrections.

I agree with you on the pickles seeming too reminiscent of the rotten eggs, and I simply haven't made up my mind about this season yet. My own sense of (perhaps morbid) curiosity will keep me watching until the bitter end, no matter how angry it might make me.
