I loved Wicked. I thought it was a magnificent portrayl of human nature and a fascinating charecter study. While it certaintly portrayed charecters more realisticly than many novels, ecspecially for it being in the fantasy genra, I find it interesting that you see that as a weaker point of the novel. I also disagree with your evaluation that it did away with all concepts of good and evil--the entire book is a study of the nature of good and evil, and just because there wasnt a clearly defined villian, does not by my standards mean that it did away with all good and evil. (Ecspecially as the wizard provides a main antagonist in the story who leads a genocide but is motivated by hunger for power rather than malicious thought like other steroytipical villians...)

Thanks for commenting on my blog.

I'm about to start Wicked on audiobook this week, so I'll have my guard up. No chance it was bad in a good way?
